Creation of a Printing Industry Experts Committee GRAPHITEC’XPERTS

To reflect a constantly changing world and better understand the expectations of the printing industries' user markets, the GRAPHITEC (an exhibition organized by Comexposium) team created the GRAPHITEC’XPERTS Committee in December 2010.

This committee brings together, for the first time, eleven leading professionals from the printing industries, i.e. printers, clients, government buyers, publishers, and communication agencies:

• Eric MUNZ, Associate Director KDP GROUPE
• Jean-Pierre VARACHEZ, President PERFORMANCE ATLANTIQUE
• Jean-Louis WANDER, Manufacturing Director LAGARDERE ACTIVE

Chaired by Patrick CAHUET, international printing industry expert and consultant for GRAPHITEC, the GRAPHITEC'XPERTS committee met in Paris on December 7th, 2010 and delivered an interim review of the print buyers and suppliers' future.

For these experts, the future printing scene will be shaped both by increasingly customized and Internet-centered communications, and environmental friendliness.

This new approach should feature :

• All-in-one offerings –  this will be facilitated by company consolidations and expertise sharing;
• Women and men highly trained in digital technologies, information technology and new communication media;
• Printing service providers who manage and handle digital data and databases;
• Attractive, high-quality and differentiating finished products.

The next edition of GRAPHITEC which will be held from  7 to 10 June at Paris Porte de Versailles (Pavillon 4) will present through the exhibitors' offering and the stage of special events the new outline of the  graphic industries' scenery. 4 days to get a 360° vision of innovative printing.
