Interview of M. Philippe FIOL, General Manager KOMORI France
To address the new markets that open up for our customers, we have introduced a new offset printing process. It strengthens a range which is already very popular in our southern European area.
Concentration, mergers and acquisitions will continue and will strengthen the graphic communication sector. Our customers, whatever their size, increasingly tend to provide more services. Large companies are expected to be more and more responsive, while small companies have to adapt their response capacity. Print buyers are looking for lowest-cost all-in-one services. Our customers are well aware of this, and they diversify their offerings to meet print buyers needs. They therefore expect Komori to provide inline products in response to these new requirements. This is what we will show at GRAPHITEC as well as at IGAS in Tokyo in September 2011.
In partnership with some major industry suppliers, we will demonstrate a complete production line on our stand – from prepress to finishing – in the ever-growing print-on-demand sector. The governing principle is: no sooner printed than finished and delivered! on difficult or high-value-added substrates.
The new process that we will demonstrate is rapidly expanding, and we believe that we have to let our customers see it in no time. GRAPHITEC will be the ideal place!
